On May 21, the Apace community gathered for our annual picnic at the scenic Mahoney State Park, a day filled with laughter, connection, and unforgettable memories. Attendees enjoyed a delicious lunch of Goodcents subs, followed by a lively afternoon of bingo games. Despite the wind, the weather was warm and sunny, making it the perfect setting to celebrate friendship and community.
The event brought together the individuals we support, staff, and volunteers for a much-needed opportunity to relax, play, and enjoy each other’s company in the great outdoors. Whether it was sharing a meal under the shelter, calling out “Bingo!” with excitement, or simply soaking up the fresh air, everyone left with smiles on their faces and stories to tell.
A heartfelt thank you goes to the volunteers from Pinnacle Bank, whose time, energy, and enthusiasm helped make the day run smoothly.
The Apace picnic is a cherished tradition, and this year’s event reminded us just how powerful moments of togetherness can be. We’re already looking forward to next year!
