Apace welcomed community members to an Open House at our Auburn Day Center on Tuesday, March 18, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The event provided an opportunity for guests to tour the facility, learn more about the mission of Apace, and see firsthand the vital services we provide to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Throughout the evening, attendees enjoyed delicious appetizers while engaging with Apace staff and people supported. Conversations highlighted the impact of our services and the need to enhance the Auburn Day Center to create a more inclusive, functional, and inviting space for those we support. Many guests expressed their appreciation for the work being done at Apace and their interest in the planned improvements.
The Open House was part of our ongoing capital campaign to renovate the Auburn Day Center. With community support, we aim to update the facility to better meet the needs of individuals who rely on our services daily. Planned upgrades include accessibility improvements, updated activity areas, and enhanced resources for skill development and social engagement.
We are grateful to everyone who attended and showed their support for our mission. Your involvement is key to making this project a reality. If you could not attend but would like to contribute to the Auburn Day Center’s transformation, please visit the foundation page to learn more about how you can help.
Together, we can create a space that empowers individuals, fosters independence, and enriches lives. Thank you for being a part of the Apace community!
